Summary:
Immediate need for an EXPERIENCED Lube/Tire Technician in our full-service high volume repair center.
Family owned and operated we pride ourselves on a family atmosphere and strong bonds with both our associates and customers.
We offer a Monday-Friday work week, paid vacations, and holidays.
Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance is available after 60 days of employment.
Employees paid weekly.
Must have 2
years' experience, valid driver's license, and your own tools.
Primary Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with factory standards.
Sells lubrication, safety inspection and other related services.
Replaces oil and air filters.
Inspects vehicle fluid levels, replaces, or replenishes as necessary.
Checks tire pressure and adds air if needed.
Lubricates moving parts with specified lubricants.
Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
Documents all work performed on the repair order.
Ensures that customers' cars are kept clean.
Notifies service advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
Understands, keeps abreast of and complies with federal, state and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc.
Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
Reports any safety issues immediately to management.
Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license NC state inspection license Ability to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environment Must have the ability to use shop equipment such as lifts, scan tools, tire changing, and alignment machines Ability to lift at least 50 pounds Must have your own tools The ability to stand and walk for an extended period and work with tools above your head
