Summary:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Billing Clerk to manage our billing operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for billing purchase orders, preparing and issuing invoices for completed jobs, and posting these invoices to various customer portals.
This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial transactions and customer communications.
Responsibilities:
Generate and send out invoices for all completed HVAC jobs, ensuring accuracy in billing details and compliance with contract terms.
Process billing for purchase orders received from clients, verifying that all charges are accurate and accounted for.
Post invoices to customer portals, ensuring timely submission and adherence to customer-specific billing procedures.
Collaborate with the sales and service departments to resolve billing discrepancies and answer client inquiries related to invoices.
Maintain up-to-date billing system and customer records.
Prepare, compile, and maintain reports on billing activity with a clear and effective summary of findings for management.
Assist in month-end billing processes and support other accounting tasks as needed.
