Responsibilities:
We are seeking a licensed A&P Maintenance Controller for an aircraft company in the Charlotte area.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment and facilities - Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems - Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively - Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency - Supervise and coordinate outside contractors for specialized repairs or installations - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) - Fabricate or weld components as needed for repairs or improvements - Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders by addressing their maintenance needs promptly and professionally Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems - Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing equipment malfunctions - Experience with logic controllers and other automated systems - Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals - Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices and procedures - Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail - Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Leadership qualities to supervise contractors and guide junior technicians -Issue and track DMI items.

Requirements:
- Must hold current A&P license - Maintain a thorough understanding of the Mac ll system.

Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
