Security and Compliance Manager

The Security and Compliance Manager is responsible for administering a compliant TSA Twelve-Five Standard Security Program (TFSSP); serves as the primary point of contact for security-related activities and communications with TSA. Oversee OSHA compliance, training and reporting. The Security and Compliance Manager will ensure regulatory compliance in employment related matters in multi-state and multi-national environments, as well as provide tactical and strategic direction.





?? Administer the TSA Twelve-Five Standard Security Program (TFSSP)


?? Serve as the company?s Aircraft Operator Security Coordinator (ASOC) certified to maintain and manage security operations based on the TSA?s TFSSP in accordance with applicable Code of Federal Regulations.


?? Responsible for the training of all Ground Security Coordinators (GSC).


?? Evaluate the operational aspects of Security and OSHA Compliance


?? Develop, coordinate, and implement Security and OSHA Programs. Ensures compliance with all Security and OSHA related activities. Updates programs with policies and procedures per current applicable regulations


?? Perform on-site and internal audits, inspections and assessments to ensure compliance


?? Establish and implement required training and education programs. Regular review of postings on the TSA online boards regarding security directives and concerns.


?? Maintain the pilot no-fly list as required


?? Responsible for security activities on the ground and in-flight. Process threat information and respond to bomb, air piracy, and other threats.


?? Responsible for incident reporting and investigations


?? Responsible for filing and posting annual compliance reports; coordinating with appropriate departments to obtain necessary information


?? Identify and manage risk, risk reduction, and implement comprehensive corrective action plans


?? Incident prevention and control


?? Maintains detailed Record keeping logs and training records


?? Ability to write reports, business correspondence, newsletters, emails and procedure manuals.


?? Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the workforce.


?? Be able to conduct live classroom training, supervise, and evaluate appropriate employees companywide as needed


?? Serve as the primary point of contact when working with OSHA and TSA representatives.


?? Perform other related duties as required.

?? Bachelor?s degree in an aviation field, security or Occupational Safety and Health Administration or equivalent years of education, training and experience preferred.


?? OSHA training experience (OSHA 30 Hours or 511 experience preferred)


?? Security and OSHA regulatory experience, actively building programs and actively managing/negotiating with regulatory agencies.


?? Current and valid driver license and ability to meet the company's driving requirements.


?? Excellent verbal and written communication skills that enable professional interactions at all levels of the organization.


?? Strong public speaking skills to participate in and/or lead a committee meeting.


?? ?Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.


?? Ability to manage and motivate employees.


?? Able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, site leadership, and entry-level personnel.


?? ?Strong organizational skills.


?? Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Products such as MS Word, Power Point, and Excel and Computer/Web-based training programs


?? Experience with the aviation industry and knowledge of the aviation TSA Twelve-Five Standard Security Program (TFFSP) is preferred


?? Ability to work as part of a team


?? Ability to work under minimal supervision and to exercise independent judgment, discretion and initiative


?? Proactive individual with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and excellent attention to detail.




Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
